TRADERS opted to give Marlow Chamber of Trade president Andy McCray a second year at the helm with unanimous backing at its AGM on Monday.
Mr McCready, who works at I.T firm Amicitia in Marlow High Street, said he was “chuffed” to get the thumbs up.
He told assembled chamber members at the Crowne Plaze Hotel in Fieldhouse Lane: “It was 12 months ago I took over as president, what can I say? It’s beeen challenging, enjoyable and it’s gone incredibly quickly and I’m honoured to continue.”
A number of new schemes have been set up since Mr McCready took over including the summer Scarecrow trail, which traders said was a huge success.
A monthly business meeting and a newsletter have been introduced while the website has been modernised and upgraded.
