It seems to be the latest thing for teenagers - free entry, and enables them to drink! My 15 nearly 16 year old daughter was invited to one of these gatherings recently - it was a definite no-no in my eyes, because as you rightly say, it is enticing problems - just wish parents would do the same!

Parties in the wood are no new thing, was doing it when I was young.
It's just a shame that there are predators out there who will take the opportunity to rob.
It's not the youth who are partying, or their parents, who are at fault here.

Quite right Miccles. In Spain it's very common practice for a group of mates to setup in the woods for the night and have food, drinks and fun. The is no such thing as groups of horrible teenagers going round on the hunt. What is causing this rot in UK society? I think maybe parents should be held more responsible to a point. They are clearly not doing their job properly, and it is a job. It's getting worse and these horrible kids are now having babies of their own, heaven forbid. There is one hell of a lot of angry people out and about these days. Tragic really!!
