LITTLE Marlow Village Fete posted 'record profits' at the Recreation Ground on Monday.
Organiser Quentin Falk said: “The event raised nearly £6,000 towards village amenities, and funds will be more specifically allocated at a public meeting later in the year.”
From 2pm the usual mixture of fairground rides, mini-train, crockery smashing, and more brought crowds to the village.
There were also kids’ races, birds of prey demos, a coconut shy and a grand draw with Izabella Murray, of Little Marlow, scooping the £150 first prize.
Over the past 12 months funds raised from the annual gathering have gone towards St John the Baptist Church, Fern Lane cemetery refurbishment, Little Marlow Cricket Club and others.
