A VAUXHALL Corsa ended up on a grass bank leaning onto a Jaguar after a collision in Little Marlow.

Firefighters were called out to the scene of the crash in Winchbottom Road about 12.25pm yesterday.

They had to help the driver of the Corsa out because the doors were stuck.

Neither driver suffered serious injuries and there were no passengers.

Jon Franklin, Watch Manager at High Wycombe Fire Station, said: “The occupants only had minor lacerations.

“But because the lane was so narrow one of the vehicles actually went up the bank and was leaning against the other one.

“It was on the bank leaning on the Jaguar, which was on the road.

“The Corsa driver, who seemed to have tried to tried to take evasive action, couldn't get out so needed us to get the doors open.”

The vehicles suffered damage to their offside wings and windows were broken.

Personally I would have preferred a file picture of a grass bank but I guess you can't have everything.

There was a similar incident on sheepridge lane at 1.45, that hasn't been reported here. Is it the same incident?

I lived in this lane for 8 years and I bet this incident occurred at the upper end near to Flackwell Heath. It is very narrow there but with care is safely negotiable but you will always get speed merchants who haven't got a minute to spare.
