GIFTS are being sought for a fundraising Christmas tombola that will help send children suffering from serious illness on much needed holidays.

The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund event will take place on Sunday, December 8, at Missenden Abbey Craft Market, which runs from 11am to 4pm where folk can get in the festive spirit and enjoy a glass of homemade mulled wine while browsing through the variety of Christmas craft stalls and activities.

There will be a Santa's grotto, carol singers, Christmas canvas painting, festive food treats and a raffle draw. Entry is free but donations on the door will be in aid of the charity as will the profits from the raffle.

If you have a gift you would like to donate to the tombola, please take it to The JNP Partnership in Prestwood, High Quality Lighting, Wye Estate, London Road, High Wycombe or direct to the charity at 18 Sixty Acres Road, Prestwood, HP16 0PD.

The charity was founded by Thomas Ball in 1999, when he was nine years old, who suffered from a rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma. Thomas passed away in 2003, aged 14.
