YOUR Christmas Tree can be recycled and raise money for charity. Members of Little Kingshill Baptist Church will be collecting trees tomorrow (Saturday) in Little and Great Kingshill, plus Lodge Lane estate, Wrights Lane, Fairacres, Nairdwood Lane, Moat Lane and Kiln Road. Please have the tree outside your property by 10am and there is a suggested donation of £5 which will go to St. Marks School in Uganda and local Bucks projects supporting the homeless, ex-offenders and addiction recovery.

CHRISTMAS cards can also be recycled by placing them in the boxes in Marks & Spencer January 2 to 31 and Sainsburys up until January 14.

MEET at 2pm in Holy Trinity car park in Prestwood on Sunday January 4 for a fun walk for all the family approximately 1½ hours finishing with a festive tea at 3.30pm in the Church Hall. Everyone is welcome, whether you have walked or not, but to assist with catering, it would be helpful if you could let Doreen (863397) know if you are intending to come, mentioning any dietary requirements. Festive Tea £4 children under 12 £2 and under 5s free.

BUCKS COUNTY COUNCIL is proposing changes to the parking on various roads in Great Missenden. Details of the consultation on the proposed changes can be found on the Bucks CC website www.buckscc.gov.uk/about-your-council/have-your-say. The consultation closes on Wednesday January 21 so please respond.

PRESTWOOD WI’S FIRST MEETING of the New Year will be on Wednesday January 7 at2.15pm in the Village Hall when they will learn about Wood Turning from Don Hawes.

DREAMFLIGHT CHARITY is the subject of the talk at Little Kingshill WI on Thursday January 8 at 2pm.

PRESTWOOD GARDENING SOCIETY meeting on Thursday January 8 will have a talk about REMAP, an organisation that produces custom-made equipment for people with disabilities.
