A BIBLE which belonged to a man who was killed in the First World War has been given to his relatives after a reader donated it to the Bucks Free Press.
The book was discovered by a female reader from the High Wycombe area and inside was a press cutting from May 1915 about the death of Private Alfred Ridgley, whose family were from Saunderton.
After researching the family history of the Ridgley family, our historian Mike Dewey located two relatives who still live in the area and they have now happily taken it for safekeeping.
