Princes Risborough Rotary Club raised over £14,000 during their end of year activities, it has been announced.
The Rotary Club, who meet at Princes Risborough Golf Club in Lee Road, managed to raise a staggering £14,000 in just three months.
The club, which has over 50 members, fundraises regularly for local and international causes and community projects, including Bucks Young Carers.
The Kop Hill Climb donated £4,000 to the Rotary Club last year after members helped to organise and run the annual event and the popular Halloween Fireworks and Bonfire Night raised £2,700 with over 1000 people turning up to enjoy the display.
Nine Rotarians also joined other clubs to raise vital funds for BBC Children in Need at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. The event from the previous year raised over £25,000.
The annual Tree of Light ceremony attracted a record-breaking crowd with over 500 dedications made and over £5,000, half of which goes to Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
Street collections in the run up to Christmas also raised an incredible £2,300 in two days.
