A street collection in aid of charity raised over £100 last month.
Princes Risborough resident Kate Atherton organised a street collection to raise vital funds for The Children’s Society, which offers a network of programmes and services for children and young people to improve their childhood.
A total of £178.14 was raised on Saturday, March 28 during the collection.
Mrs Atherton said: “The Children's Society does great work helping to fight child poverty and neglect; it is a charity close to my heart as my mum used to be closely involved with it when I was growing up in Yorkshire.
“We are always happy with money raised, however much it is, it all helps.”
