A couple from Princes Risborough say they are learning on the job but are having the best few weeks, following the delivery of their first child.

Imogen Iris Meads was born at Aylesbury Birth Centre on Saturday, February 21, weighing 7lbs 9oz – with her happy mother celebrating her own birthday the following day.

And, Penny and Robin Meads say they have been kept busy since they welcomed their daughter into the world, over a month now.

Penny said: “My birthday is February 22, so I asked the midwife to make sure the baby came by midnight.

“The lack of sleep is a shock to the system and we are learning on the job, but it has been the best few weeks and we are excited for whatever she throws at us next.”
