Monks Risborough show attracts record numbers

THE Monks Risborough Horticultural Society Annual Show had record attendances and entries.
In the marquee there were 537 entries for all classes and speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow, presented the prizes.
Amongst the prizewinners was C and I Cypher who won seven trophies and had the most points in the whole show.
The novelty dog show attracted a 95 entries.
Visitors were entertained throughout the afternoon on August 6 by Amersham Brass Band, ferret Racing, many stalls and refreshments.
There was a barn dance in the evening to raise money for the air ambulance
