Olympic hopeful wins Risborough 10k

THE Sri Lanka hopeful for the London Olympics marathon broke the course record for the Risborough 10k.
Anuradha Cooray stormed home in 30 minutes 44 seconds, beating the former course record of 31m 04s.
He runs with the Vale of Aylesbury Athletic Club which runs the road race in Princes Risborough as part of the festival.
It started at 9am on Sunday in the High Street.
Cooray will be representing Sri Lanka in this year's London Olympics.
Organiser of the race, Colin Steptoe, said: "There was some significant times and a lot of course records."
273 people took part.
The second man was Eddie O'Gorman with 35m 18s and third was Marcus Maxwell with 35m 28s.
Carolyn Boosey, also with the Vale of Aylesbury club, was the first woman with 36m 27s and beat the previous women's best of 38m 33s.
Stewart Thorp also set a new course record for the Veteran 60 with a time of 38m34s.
