AN organic baby food brand has launched its first cookery school in Princes Risborough, which is working with celebrity chef, Rachel Allen.
Plum Baby has opened the school to help parents take the worry out of weaning and is hosted by child nutrition expert, Beverley Glock.
Rachel Allen is working with Plum and will be on hand to give her own recipe suggestions and answer cooking-relate questions.
The school, which is currently based online, aims to allow parents to take advantage of recipe development sessions and informal chats with child nutrition experts.
Their babies will also get to taste-test a range of new recipes designed especially for younger palettes.
Beverley, who has 11 years experience of cooking with mums and babies, even earning the title of children’s food expert for The Times, said: "I’m really looking forward to hosting the Plum Cookery School. It’s my passion to encourage children to be interested in food and I think it’s fantastic that Plum is supporting this and getting both mums and their babies involved in the cooking process."
The initial launch was attended by competition winners and they are planning to open it in the future for parents to attend special sessions based around what they feel the need to learn.
Parents can access everything they need around the Cookery School on the website; recipes, videos, advice from Rachel Allen and more.
The school is based in Park Mill House in Princes Risborough.
