FOLLOWING their sell out opening concert earlier this month, the Bisham Concert Band continue to entertain the audience with music for all the family from film, TV and the Shows, played in their Big Band style.
Under their distinguished conductor Michael Pegram FVCM, ARCM the programme will include music from the film Exodus, The Best of James Bond plus the much loved tunes from Disney Around the World and the memorable Hymn to the Fallen (from Saving Pte. Ryan). The concert will also feature the band’s two great soloists Emma (flute) playing the theme from Schindler’s list and Sheila(trumpet) with Panis Angelicus.
A special treat is reserved for all young at heart aged five to 100 with a narrated version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears to musical accompaniment.
All profits from the concert will be donated to the much needed church roof repair. The concert is at Stokenchurch Parish Church on Sunday, May 18 at 4pm in support of this aim to enjoy great music and not least the cream tea.
