Valuable horse head statue stolen from farm

A VALUABLE statue of a horse's head has been stolen from a Bledlow Ridge farm – with the owner offering a £5,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the thieves.

The Nic Fiddian-Green artwork was stolen between 7pm and 8.47pm on Friday from a wooden plinth in the garden of the farm in the Bledlow Ridge area.

Police say they will not release any further information on the location of the farm at the request of the owner, who has offered up the £5,000 reward to bring the thieves to justice.

Investigating officer PC Craig Duncan said: “The statue is unique and easily identifiable and I am appealing to anyone who has seen it since the theft, or who has information that could help our investigation, to come forward.”

Contact police on 0845 8 505 505, alternatively, contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111 with any information.

I had statues stolen from my front garden. The police couldn't be bothered and I had to spend a fortune on CCTV as a result. It's success with this sort of low level crime that makes the yobs graduate to bigger crimes.
