'Moron' blasted for Union Jack insult to Queen

'Moron' blasted for Union Jack insult to Queen 'Moron' blasted for Union Jack insult to Queen

A PATRIOTIC man has lambasted a prankster for insulting the Queen by removing his Union Jack covers on his wing mirrors.

The national flag decorations were removed from Mervyn Buston's car on June 13 when he was parked at Gossmore Recreation Ground in Marlow walking his dog.

Mr Buston, of Herons Place, Marlow, branded the culprit a 'moron' and said he managed to note a registration number of another driver, who he suspected did it.

He said: "He just decided that it was good idea for some reason to take it off and throw it on the grass, which was a rather stupid thing to do.

"The covers were not there in connection with the Euro 2012 and the England football team as I am a supporter of a game with a different shaped ball, but were left from the Jubilee celebrations.

"Removing them was really disrespectful to the Queen, not to me."
