TWO friends have fulfilled a life-long dream after opening a party shop in High Wycombe together.
Tim Sallis, from Princes Risborough, and John Hill, from Loudwater, have known each other for around three years and wanted to combine their respective firework and party businesses.
After finding the perfect premises in Corporation Street and refurbishing it they opened Party Crazy and Total Fireworks.
Next week they are having a grand launch party and will be giving away free balloons to customers. Youngsters can also have their faces painted for free or take home a balloon model.
Mr Sallis, who has run firework shops in Chapel Lane and Micklefield Road, said: "I have always had my own shop, but it's never been appropriate for party stock. Eventually this one came up in town and we thought why don't we go for it together.
"It's gone remarkably well over what's been a short time. I think it's going to be really good, despite the economic climate I think it's going to be very positive."
Party Crazy stocks fancy dress, balloon decorations and fireworks and can also help organise events such as weddings and birthdays.
The store is holding its launch day on Saturday, November 29.
