A CANCER sufferer, who is selling his huge stock of ornamental fish, plans to donate the money raised to a charity for the disease.
Norman Dale, 73, who has bowel cancer, is moving house and is unable to take his fish with him.
As a result, the Cressex Road resident, is selling his 70 goldfish to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Charity, a disease which Mr Dale also had He said: "It is a charity close to my heart. You do not realise until you have it yourself how many other people have it or had it.
"I do not want to get rid of them but unless I move somewhere with a big pond or I sell them, then the builders will just rip the pond out."
The fish were in the pond when Mr Dale moved into his home 30 years ago and they have continued to breed.
The fish range is size from baby ones to some which are up to six inches long.
