First lambs of spring at Ham farm

THE early Easter weekend coincided with the birth of the first lambs of Spring at Ham Farm.

As 400 ewes brought their young into the world at the farm in Piddington, West Wycombe, visitors had the chance to meet, cuddle and feed the new lambs.

As well as being able to touch them and roll around in the hay, children posed for pictures with their new friends.

They used a specially built walkway to see the mothers and very young new borns, who remained inside a barn, so as not to disturb them.

Children also enjoyed tractor and trailer rides, go-karting and the opening of Pets Corner.

Money raised from the four open days will be donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care and the West Wycombe Charitable Trust.
