The Tory has been re-appointed Minister for Europe – a role he has held since the last election in 2010.
Mr Lidington will take a key role beside George Osborne and Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond in the party’s efforts to renegotiate Britain's ties with the European Union.

He tweeted: “Delighted to be continuing as UK Europe Minister #EU reform a key govt priority More competitive, democratic, flexible EU in interest of all.”
