The long awaited decision on proposals to transform Marlow town centre will be made by the council tonight, with the plans recommended for approval by planning officers.
Wycombe District Council's planning committee will meet to discuss Shanly Group's plans to demolish Windsor House, on the corner of Spittal and Dean Streets, to make way for homes and what is likely to be a new Marks and Spencer food store.
The proposals were submitted by the developers in March last year, with the vision to get rid of the ‘dated’ building and replace it with a more traditional Georgian-style three-storey building.
If approved, it will be made up of 10 flats and ground floor space for retail and cafes/restaurants.
