WELCOME to The Bucks Free Press live blog for the first day of a probe into proposed cuts at Buckinghamshire County Council.
You can read our live coverage of the key points from County Hall from 9am on Wednesday January 20 and add your own comments.
If you are on Twitter you can add #bfp to your tweets to feature.
The authority gets most of the final council tax bill, about two-thirds, with most homes giving it more than £1,000 each year.
It is looking to increase its council tax share by two per cent, about an extra £22 for an average home.
Today leader Councillor David Shakespeare (DS) will speak to the committee.
He will be followed by deputy leader Councillor Chapple (BC) and planning and waste and resources chiefs. Click the link at the bottom of this story for full agenda papers and figures.
Last week's questioning revealed the pothole budget could be cut in half (see links).
