DEPARTING Wycombe boss Paul Lambert says he will never forget the support he received from the players when he told them he was leaving.
He had players queuing up at his door to thank him, three hours after he sat them all down to tell them he was off.
Skipper David McCracken said: "I've never seen anything like this when the manager leaves a club. There are still ten or 15 players standing outside his door waiting to thank him personally. Those things just don't happen at football clubs."
