Old Palace students spread festive cheer

Elderly residents from Whitgift House care home in South Croydon were treated to a feast of Christmas music sung and played by pupils from Old Palace school on Sunday, December 9.
The school's year seven choir led the worship at the annual carol service whilst young instrumentalists from its training orchestra entertained those residents unable to attend the service.
The girls delighted the audience of residents and friends in the community room by singing a mixture of traditional and contemporary Christmas carols. One hundred year old, Vi Butler said: "They sang like angels. It was such a treat. I hope they come again in the new year."
