Following the Social Enterprise taking over day care provision for Adults with Learning, physical disabilities, and mental health issues from Bucks County Council and care for the elderly from the Red Cross in June 2012, we had set a target of fundraising the sum of £300,000 to purchase the freehold of the building as well as to carry out essential repairs and maintenance.

With the great support and generosity of many people in and around Princes Risborough, I am delighted to announce that the purchase of the Princes Centre building was completed on 7th October.

Currently the sum of £305,000 has been raised but with some of this being used on the purchase start-up costs and some unexpected expenditure, we still need to raise another £100,000 to carry out essential repairs such as replacement windows and doors.

Thank you to all of you who have given most generously not only financially but also volunteering your time and support.

A special celebration event was held on Friday 10th October, when this announcement was made and the centre was officially opened by The High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire Mr Joe Barclay.

The second AGM of the Princes Risborough Centre Ltd charity is being held on Thursday 20th November at 7pm and you are cordially invited to attend.
