THE ASHES are firmly back in the hands of the English last week and in the summer of 1951 it looks like the Booker Cricket Team had clinched another sporting trophy.
These band of cricketers are sitting, with arms folded, looking proud of their achievement. Batsmen, bowlers and scorers alike could well feature here.
Their cricket whites are bright and by the expressions on their faces they feel like their team could take on Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath any day of the week.
If you recognise any of the players contact the memories reporter Rachel Sixsmith on 01494 755093
UPDATE:
Margaret Johnson, 74, of Hillary Road, High Wycombe, called in to say that her husband Reg Johnson, now 82, could be seen at the middle of the photo in the back row.
She said: "They were a very good cricket team. It was a delight to see the picture in the Free Press."
