THIS lot look like a strange bunch, full of young cowboys, soldiers and youngsters clearly wearing their Sunday best.

The photo shows a congregation of men, women and children gathered to celebrate the Queen’s Coronation. The picture was taken in Oakridge Road in June 1953.
