n This is the Guildhall, High Street, High Wycombe in the year that Luna 1 became the first spacecraft to orbit the Moon The photo was taken in September 1959. It shows the traditional ceremony of weighing the mayor (Councillor Haines) outside the Guildhall watched by members of the public.
