THIS is Lincoln Road, High Wycombe in the year Elvis Presley records Heartbreak Hotel, videotape is first demonstrated at a convention in Chicago and poet Ted Hughes marries Sylvia Plath.
This photo was taken in 1959. It shows a group of hikers, five men, five women and one schoolgirl, walking across the fields on the site that is now Cressex Industrial Estate.

They have only just recognised the importance of disability sport in the complete rehabilitation of a disabled person. In the last 10 years I mean. The blink of an eye really.
