One hundred pairs of tickets are available through Buckinghamshire’s Big Ticket Giveway, run through Buckinghamshire County Council and South Bucks District Council in conjunction with the Bucks Free Press.
The Olympic tickets are for events at Dorney Lake and there are also four for the opening and closing ceremonies, and will be allocated to residents a panel of judges decide best demonstrate the Olympic and Paralympic values of courage, determination and inspiration, equality, respect friendship and excellence.
To nominate your own local hero, fill out the form below, attach it to a separate sheet of paper with your 400-word nomination and then post it to: The Judging Panel, Bucks CC 2012 Programme Team, Walton Street, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP20 1UA.
