Stop the drunks in town

I'D LIKE to bring to the attention of the council, police, community police or even Eden's security, the amount of drunks now hanging around by the bus station at the taxi rank in High Wycombe.

Back bomber memorial

REGARDING last week's letter from John Funnell headlined "Why don't we honour our bomber boys?", we the people of High Wycombe really should back the Bomber Command Memorial to the hilt given our close associations with RAF Bomber Command, now RAF Strike Command, up at Naphill.

Don't put your babies at risk of skin cancer

WE ARE all making the most of the welcome spell of sunny days but my enjoyment has been somewhat marred by the sight of so many little babies/young children being pushed in their forward-facing buggies with the sunshine full on their little faces and tender skin.

We do need polyclinics

I WAS disappointed to read the letter last week from Ed Macalister Smith (Chief Executive Buckinghamshire PCT) in which he stated that polyclinics are for London only.

HIGH Wycombe was the headquarters and nerve centre of Bomber Command during World War Two but where are the Bomber Boys remembered now?
