An injured woman had to be cut free from her car after a three-vehicle collision in Little Missenden.
Firefighters were called to the A413, near the Deep Mill Diner, at 5.29pm following reports of a multivehicle crash and helped the paramedics safely remove the woman from her car.
Police were also called and it is believed that the scene is now safe.
A fire crew from Amersham and one from High Wycombe attended, along with an officer.
The injured woman is now in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Two men were also involved, but it is understood they were not hurt and were out of their vehicles before crews arrived.
