A gym club has formally submitted plans for a new purpose-built home in Prestwood.
The Abbey Gym Club has made a planning application to Chiltern District Council for a purpose made facility at the Sprinters Leisure Centre in the village.
Club members currently have to use a hall at Prestwood Junior School, which is too small for them to use.
The new gym building would also allow the club to accept more members, with 300 currently on its waiting list.
Alterations to the car park at Sprinters would have to be made to allow space for the new building, subject to planning permission being granted.
The council is likely to make a decision on whether to grant approval in late July or early August.
