A man who broke the terms of an ASBO by making hoax calls to the emergency services has been jailed for four weeks.

Andrew Davies was given the anti-social behaviour order last year for a succession of time wasting calls to the ambulance service, before starting to lie in the road feigning injury in order to attract the attention of emergency crews.

The 52-year-old, of Brooke Road, Princes Risborough, admitted to three breaches of the ASBO and was jailed by Wycombe magistrates on April 21.

He was given four week jail terms for each of the offences, which will be served concurrently. He was also ordered to pay £165 in court costs.

Davies committed the offences in his home town on January 17 and 20. Court records state that during the second course of offending he was intoxicated in a public place – something the ASBO barred him from being.

His order is due to expire in October 2016.
