Former Girls Aloud singer and Princes Risborough resident Sarah Harding will switch on the Christmas lights in the town it was confirmed this afternoon.
New lights will be used in the Market Square, High Street and Bell Street for this year’s switch-on thanks to combined efforts from the Risborough Festival Committee, Market Group, Princes Risborough Town Council and Wycombe District Council.
Festival Chairman Richard Stevenson said: “The old lights needed to be replaced, and on behalf of the town I would like to thank everyone who contributed”.
Music and performances will start at 5pm in the Market Square on Friday December 4.
