Here are a selection of upcoming community events in Princes Risborough:
A new eight-week course to explore what matters for a happy and meaningful life starts on February 2 at Risborough Community Centre, Wades Park, Stratton Road (HP27 9AX). The Action For Happiness course starts at 7pm and has a recommended donation of £90. For more information visit www.actionforhappiness.org.
Community Open’s annual mid-winter social event take place on Saturday February 6 at the Risborough Community Centre Main Hall, off Stratton Road at 2pm (doors open at 1.30pm). Any profits from the event will go towards “good, local causes”. Entry by ticket only, priced at £5pp and includes refreshments Tickets available from The Elephant’s Trunk, Duke St, Risborough, Art & Office, High St, Risborough and from the Information Counter in Risborough Library.
Longwick Art Exhibition takes place on February 20 (Sat) and 21 (Sun) at Longwick School, Walnut Tree Lane, Princes Risborough (HP27 9SJ). The event raises funds for the school and tickets are £2 which including a catalogue. Refreshments will be served. Event timings are 10am – 5pm on Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sunday.
