A 15-year-old from Princes Risborough was given a photography award by industry experts at a ceremony last weekend.

Amy Price's piece entitled 'Fire' won the 16 and under category of a competition which was run in conjunction with the current 'PHOTOGRAPHY!' exhibition at Bucks County Museum, Church Street (Aylesbury).

Joanne Walker, 15, also from Princes Risborough won a merit award in the same category.

Amy Price was presented with her prize by Chris Harper, Chief Executive of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP), and Bella West, Director of BIPP and leading portrait photographer at the museum on Saturday.

David Erskine from Bucks County Museum said: “We had a great response from the public and the standard of entries was very high.”

The winning entries can be seen in the PHOTOGRAPHY! exhibition at Bucks County Museum until 5 March.
