An elderly man has been airlifted to hospital this afternoon following a crash between a bus and a car in Princes Risborough.
South Central Ambulance Service were called to Bell Street at 2.10pm and sent a rapid response vehicle, two ambulance officers, two ambulance crews and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance to the scene.
An elderly man suffered serious multiple injuries and was flown by air ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Five other people were assessed at the scene but did not need hospital treatment.
Two fire crews from Aylesbury and one from High Wycombe also attended and used hydraulic rescue equipment to release an injured man from the car.
Bucks Fire and Rescue said all passengers were taken off the bus and checked over by South Central Ambulance Service.
