A PUBLIC meeting is being held on Wednesday to discuss options for the future of Holywell Mead swimming pool.
Lib Dem Councillor Julia Wassell announced last week she is putting together a business proposal to save the pool in The Rye, High Wycombe, which Tory councillors agreed to scrap in February.
There will be a drop in session from 5.30pm-6.30pm on Wednesday in the Environment Centre, next to the pool, with the meeting at 7pm on the same day with a venue still to be confirmed.
Cllr Trevor Snaith, a Lib Dem representative for Ryemead said: "I urge all residents to attend and offer support. The Holywell Mead pool is a part of High Wycombe's heritage and we need to protect the pool and the buildings future."
Anyone unable to make the meeting or drop-in session can contact Cllr Wassell with their ideas by email at julia.wassell@wycombelibdems.org.uk.
