ENGLAND has told James Haskell not be be disheartened after being left out of their match squad for their Test against Australia on Saturday.
Haskell, who was also omitted for the Fiji game, was one of nine players released back to their clubs during the week.
Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: “I know England have spoken to him and said he’s just got to keep playing well for Wasps and he’ll get his opportunity.
“He’s quite positive about it and he’s just got to keep working.
“He had a slow start for us, but every game he’s played he’s got better. He brings certain qualities. His defensive game is very good, that’s his strength, and he’s looking to build on his attacking game.”
