WASPS are crossing their fingers that their injured half-backs will be fit in time to face Leicester in the Aviva Premiership next weekend.

The Tigers will arrive at Adams Park on Sunday in third place, but Wasps have won all five of their matches in Wycombe this season and could be strengthened by the return of some key personnel.

Scrum half Joe Simpson and fly half Nicky Robinson were both running again last week and are expected to be fit, while influential lock Marco Wentzel is almost certainly going to be ready to play.

Elliot Daly has also been given the all-clear despite taking a buffetting late in the match with Worcester yesterday.

However, Wasps say that the game will come a week too soon for Stephen Jones.
