SEVEN Wasps have been included in England senior squads named by Stuart Lancaster today, but the Premiership's top try-scorer has again been overlooked.

Tom Varndell has scored ten times already this season to lead the scoring charts but there is again no place for him in either the full England squad or the Saxons.

However, Joe Launchbury and James Haskell have been named in England's Six Nations squad with Christian Wade, Billy Vunipola, Joe Simpson, Elliot Daly and Tom Palmer in the Saxons.

For Vunipola and Daly, it's the first time they have been recognised internationally at senior level.

Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: "It’s fantastic to see seven of our players selected for international duty.

"I think that is a real indication of the massive improvement among our squad this season and I am very pleased our players are getting the recognition they deserve.

"I have always seen that a key part of my job is to help develop players for the English national squad and I wish them all the best of luck in the weeks ahead.”
