DANNY Foster will have an operation on a knee injury on Monday, ruling him out for the next six weeks.

The right back hasn't played since mid November after picking up the injury against Rotherham United, but it's taken until now for the problem to be diagnosed properly because of swelling around the knee.

Wanderers expect the 28-year-old to be out of action for at least six weeks once he's gone under the knife.

Fellow right back Marvin McCoy is back in contention to face AFC Wimbledon on Saturday after recovering from illness. QPR loanee Michael Harriman took his place for the 2-1 win over Chesterfield last week.
