MAN of the moment Billy Vunipola limped out of Wasps’ win in Wales last night with a knee injury.
The back row who announced this week he will move to Saracens in the summer hobbled off after 48 minutes of Wasps’ narrow 20-19 victory.
Director of rugby Dai Young said: “It’s a collision injury, it was knee on knee when he carried. It’s swollen up a little bit and we don’t know how serious it is at the moment, but it’s not ligament trouble so hopefully he won’t be too bad.”
Before then, Vunipola had shown Wasps fans what they’ll be missing with an all-action display, particularly in the first half when he took every opportunity that came his way to crash into the Dragons’ line.
Young said: “He carried quite strongly and in fairness to him in the first half he was the only guy that was taking us forward.
