WYCOMBE Wanderers are ‘optimistic’ tomorrow’s clash with Dagenham & Redbridge will still go ahead as planned.
The Adams Park pitch’s undersoil heating is on and will remain on as the club battles the Arctic conditions to get Saturday’s game on.
But the Blues have warned the system is only effective at combating freezing temperatures and light snowfall.
The club says the predicted heavy snowfall could cause problems around the stadium but measures have been taken to try and get the lower car-park open.
A decision about the upper car-park will be taken tomorrow morning.
Wanderers have urged supporters to get to the ground early or take other transportation, such as the Park and Ride service.
Updates will be posted on the club’s website and Twitter service.
