CHESHAM United returned to action on Saturday with a defeat in the Southern League Premier Division, but Chalfont St Peter and Beaconsfield were left kicking their heels again.

Chesham lost 3-1 at Gosport Borough, after a run of three victories in a row ground to a halt when four matches were lost to the weather.

Chesham return to action tomorrow night at Bashley.

Meanwhile, in Division One Cenral, Beaconsfield's home tie with Uxbridge and Chalfont's scheduled visit from Aylesbury were both off.

Beaconsfield are due to host Daventry tonight while Chalfont go to Fleet tomorrow.
