Wasps prop gets England call

IT is lose one, gain one for Wasps this week, with one player returning from the Saxons and another being called up.

Billy Vunipola has been released by the Saxons ahead of England's match against Scotland on Friday night and will be available to play against Sale in the LV Cup.

But prop Phil Swainston has been called up to replace Shaun Knight of Gloucester, who has a knee injury.

Swainston joins Joe Simpson, Elliot Daly and Christian Wade in the Saxons squad.

Meanwhile, Joe Launchbury and James Haskell start for the full England side as they kick off their Six Nations Championship against Scotland.
