Gaz frustrated at postponement

Wintry: This was the scene in Bradford last week as snow forced the postponement of Wanderers' game at Valley Parade
'HUGELY frustrating' was how Gareth Ainsworth described the postponement of Saturday's trip to League Cup finalists Bradford City.
The Bantams booked their place at Wembley last week with an aggregate victory over Premier League Aston Villa, but snow put paid to Wanderers having a chance to gatecrash the Valley Parade homecoming party with another win.
Whilst Blues were instead put through their paces with a friendly between two Wanderers XIs at Adams Park, City were jetting off for some warm weather training as a reward for reaching a final against Swansea City.
Ainsworth said: "I've seen Bradford on TV in Tenerife this week - that's something they were looking forward to and we could have put a little downer on that trip.
"The game being off was probably the best result for them but the worst one for us because we really wanted to play it and get the game on.
"We are in a good place at the moment. Everyone was looking forward to that game and it would have been a big challenge. One thing this club looks forward to at the moment is challenges and hitting things head on, so to play the cup finalists would have been great. It was hugely frustrating."
Blues will instead head north on Tuesday March 19 after the clubs agreed a date for the rearranged fixture.
