Wycombe Judo Centre deliver the goods

SIX members of Wycombe Judo Centre won five medals at the Chalfont and Eversham Judokwai Championships recently.

And the only reason they missed out on making it six out of six is because Katie-Ann Chapman didn’t have anyone in her weight category to fight.

However, making the most of their opportunities were nine-year-old Harry Kelly, eight-year-old Finn Muldowney and Max Davey, who is eight.

They all won golds medals while Isabella Penfold added silver and Luke Grilli won bronze.

Meanwhile, a former world champion and two-time Olympic silver medalist will be coming to Wycombe do deliver a masterclass on February 21. Eighth Dan Neil Adams won silvers in Moscow 1980 and Los Angeles in 1984 and is a former GB Olympic coach.
