HIGH Wycombe RFC were shoved into the last chance saloon by rivals Marlow at the weekend after their Bucks rivals won 36-19 at Kingsmead.
Marlow's second win on the bounce, and third this season against Wycombe, virtually ends their own relegation concerns but leaves Wycombe 18 points from safety with six games left.
Next weekend they play Newbury Blues, the team directly above in South West 1 East, in a match they simply have to win.
Meanwhile, Amersham & Chiltern thrashed Maidenhead 66-10 in National League 3 South West while Beaconsfield won a vital London 1 North match 20-13 against Romford.
